Another Pennsylvania Lawsuit
I wonder what this settlement will be. We'll probably just cut another $250M check and go on about our business. CHK might be the only company which actually has to budget lawsuit damages into the CAPEX budget.
$4.00 Stock Price Doesn't Feel So Good Doug...
You've made some very poor decisions running this once great company into the ground. Just an observation.
Yearly Performance Bonus
Does anyone know if you have to be employed at the time bonuses are paid out or if you just had to be employed on December 31st to get your annual performance bonus?

Office moves...
So upper management tells us to watch our spending then they approve mass office moves. Great way to spend money we don't have by moving everyone around, again.

In Lieu of a Town Hall
Doug will simply be showing a screening of House of Cards in the green room next week. A webcast will be available on myCHK soon after.
It is actually hard to find another public company performing as bad as Chesapeake. Thought it would take another year to drop to $4 stock, but
the amazing Dougie has managed to find a way to do it in less than 30 days. Can't teach that kind of talent, it's a gift.
How low will CHK go?
Energy junk bonds got broadly hammered. But Chesapeake Energy saw its $11.6 billion in junk bonds collapse on heavy volume, while its Credit Default Swaps (CDS) — which investors buy to protect against defaults — jumped to the highest level ever... — read more

There's a traffic jam of oil tankers off the coast of Galvaston, TX and a 2 mile long train of tankers in the Mediterranean sea heading for the USA. Not only that, reports are saying that China storage is near capacity. So all this means we're about... — read more
Hotties
Did very many super hot chicks get cut in this last go around? I miss that aspect of CHK
Executive Vp gets hired and gets paid millions and then CHK layoffs 900 people.
I guess franks job was more important then 900 people, 900 people plus their families were impacted but the gods in building 1 are still making millions.
Christmas Lights This Year?
Not happening!
More layoffs?
The axe swings again... It appears as they are just getting warmed up
Town Hall today?
Any big news from the town hall today? I couldn't catch the live broadcast.
Bravo CHK!
$4.6 billion loss for Q3. With the hedges that expired in October, looks like a $20B loss is not out of the question for 2015. Sure am glad we changed to a pay for performance so that nobody will receive raises or bonuses for the next 2-3 years... — read more

I just went to chk.com. Looked through all categories of jobs and there are 0 jobs available, period.
I left chk several years ago, but am still a stockholder. As a stockholder, I'm thinking that they darn well better keep enough people to maintain all the servers, databases, legal and regulatory going!
