The OPEIDs for Santa Ana, Ontario Metro, Chelsea, Bedford Park, Marietta, Atlanta West, Norcross, Columbus, Jonesboro, Midcities are changing on 1/15/2015. Looks like the phases as referenced by Jack's update have started

The reason for the new OPE ID numbers because many campuses that ECMC want to buy have branch campuses they don't want or visa versa. Since two or more schools (main and branches) must both operate with the same OPE ID's. So if ECMC wants to buy a main or branch-but not both the OPE-ID must be changed.
Yes, the OPEIDs did change today. DOE made the change, so yes, the sale is happening. No doubt. Haters gon' hate.
I work in disbursements. I can confirm the OPEID merge. It was scheduled to occur last night and they are running a few test exports to COD today. If everything goes smoothly then it will back to full processing for those campuses.

57867 : I'm 57857, are you referring to me? If so, making a contentless statement like that isn't going to lend you any credibility. I can guarantee you I know more about ED approval to participate than you, and you don't just "change" OPEIDs willy nilly.

I don't understand why the OPEIDs would change. Do they all have campuses not included in the sale? I don't think so.
