Anonymous57489: Trust me I know more than you! How was your meeting with FP and KS from IT asking to reverse engineer the lead generation model because all the people that knew how it worked left? You know the model we pay the third party to validate or leads? In fact the data was hosted on the server on Dallas because BioHealth was contracting CMC, the creator of CampusVue, to host BioHealth's data on CMC's servers and we were running extracts and sending them to CMC. Now go away orI will taunt you some more.

Ya'll understand that CVue is not a custom-made database, and sits on a CVue server in TX. It has the same core architecture as all other schools that also use CVue. Pulling out the 56 schools is not difficult. It is a smoke screen.
@57485 Voice did not say it was impossible top pull the data out rather they way the system was implemented. And to be clear the BioHealth fiasco was still running on CCI servers under the same Cvue instance. Get your facts straight before you chime in. I am in marketing and I know he is saying form closed door meetings which you not aware of given your position in the company.
All the big brains are on this post :-)
Voice of IT you don't know anything and I bet you are that guy that thinks he knows it all on the Insight team. Since I work with CVue it is not hard at all to pull the data out and we did it with BioHealth. We also have been testing pulling the Heald and Canadian data out since Oct 2014. The last hold up was the IRS approval for the change from a for profit model to a non-profit model. The OPEID are changing over this week that has been testing since Nov 2014. In case you don't know what an OPIED is here it is. "Identification number used by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Postsecondary Education (OPE) to identify schools that have Program Participation Agreements (PPA) so that its students are eligible to participate in Federal Student Financial Assistance programs under Title IV regulations." If the DoE wasn't ready we wouldn't be changing OPEIDs because that is tied to $$.
Prepare to work Long hours including Holifays to make this happen and clean up the mess after the change is implemented.. That is why I left. You will be working all weekend and the people that ordered you to work will be no where around or on some vacation somewhere. I feel sorry for the people in It that are left.
Yes he/she was! Agreement in Principle does not mean "SOLD"
Board Hijacker was the first one to announce this - kudos
The sale is not a done deal simply waiting for time to lapse. There are unknown conditions that need to be meet that were uncovered after additional due-diligence (investigation). As a technical/infrastructural example the entire CCI schools run on a single instance of Campus View software. It is extremely hard to pull out 56 schools and transfer the records to a new instance. Have all on a single instance with different owners is a conflict of student data, privacy, etc. etc. etc. Let alone the way the security was designed and all the interface applications and data feeds. It is a giant software/application mess which is even worse because most of the resources who knew the system have left CCI and the rag-tag shitty resources we have left are useless. Same with the call centers and the same way Socle is interconnected. There are many other business issues and processes as well.
So there's a likelihood it won't actually happen????
