Have you hard about potential changes to severance pay packages in 2015? I hear that they will be limiting packages to maximum three months, not sure what happens with legacy Merck folks. Any thoughts?

So, what is the current severance plan anyway? I lost track of what they were doing a half-dozen layoffs ago.
Compared to the competitors and the industry, Merck's severance has been very generous.
Severance package changes should be announced many months in advance. Since no changes have been announced so far, including Jan 2015, it is highly unlikely that there will be additional this year, 2016 seems like more realistic timeframe.
