Jack should have set a deadline for filing bankruptcy. Bet he could even come in ahead of schedule.

Oh, well, why would they have bothered setting the date for today if it wasn't an actual deadline? Keeping us all strung out like this is cruel.
@207- Jack is insignificant to the DOE!
I don’t think Jack knew those were actual real deadlines from the DOE. Otherwise he would definitely still be collecting bonus checks and changing lives.
@ 193 - Deadlines only count for insignificant people????? You must have worked for Jack compiling the data that the DOE demanded last year.
No deadline today – just an expectation. But a stumble on today’s expectation may cast more “uncertainty” on the Feb. 5 outside date. But what’s a little uncertainty among thieves. “On January 5, 2015, Purchaser and the Company executed an amendment to the Purchase Agreement in order to extend the Outside Date to February 5, 2015.”…..” The parties currently expect to conduct an initial closing on January 12, 2015, which closing will include a substantial majority of the schools covered by the Purchase Agreement, subject to the satisfaction of conditions to closing, which satisfaction may be subject to some uncertainty.”
Deadlines only count for insignificant people.
What deadline? The amendment to the purchase agreement extended the deadline into February, with an expectation - not requirements - that closing the deal for some campuses MAY begin on 1/12/15.
It would be nice to see cci meet a deadline to start the year off right. I don't think we met any in 2014. Big miss on the first deadline in 2015 though :-(
