If Glendale is closing that probably means the other 2 near by SDOs are not far behind on list

Exactly - why on earth would they lay off folk/announce layoffs when they need you to get them through "peak"? If they did that, you'd just up and leave in the middle of "peak" and then they'd be screwed. You gotta think like them - money trumps everything. Whatever you can do to maximize profit before pulling the plug, do it. $$$$$ is the only thing that matters - if you believe otherwise you're a fool.
Of course they're going to let you run your butts off going thru peak and then they'll give you the news.
