Had an associate who met the District Manager. The DM introduced himself and the associate responds with, "Am I supposed to be impressed?"
These two already had plenty of encounters when this happened so it was shocking.
A couple of months later the DM comes back and says, "Hey (insert name) you still work here?"
He responds, "Yes," and ask, "you still the District Manager?"
