Thread regarding Education Management Corporation layoffs

The recruiters are just doing their jobs. They are threatened on an hourly basis of possible layoffs. Blame the leads and the company as a whole. They want recruiters to get students who do not understand loan standards. They get people who cannot write a full sentence or speak properly. They prey on those who barely graduated high school and do not know the difference between a loan and a grant. Most of these "students" actually believe they are going to school for free. To be honest most of them are in it for the pell grant which is worth 5,000 dollars and is reserved for those with very little money. Once they hear "you are eligible for a grant worth $5,000" that's all they hear. They actually think they are scamming you.
