I didn't get any courses in the last term due to low enrollment. I have been told that enrollment is actively happening so I am curious if anyone (online adjunct) has received any classes for the 1/12/15 start date?

55435 thank you for some honest info, it is hard to know to expect when you work remotely and are cut off from all contact other than the "please hold out hope" emails.
Classes aren't loaded yet as the shells haven't finished the prep. As usual, you won't know for sure until about Wednesday or Thursday before the term starts. Since there is no week 0 from Fall to Winter it may even come down to the Friday before Winter term start.
So, we are about a week out before we start to see the class assignments. Anyone, saying otherwise doesn't know what they are talking about or just filling in BS on the board to troll you. As far as the person that works in ECPO admissions they are completely trolling, disregard them.
I've never had classes loaded sooner than the Wednesday prior to the new term.
What at the course numbers you teach?
I am an adjunct and got 4 classes.
It does suck when you don't know until one week before the term, it leaves you no time to prep for the class unless you have taught it before and already have the material prepared. If there are only 150 new students I won't hold my breath as they just hired all the full time staff in May.
I work ECPO admissions. As of right now we have approximately 140 new starts for the 1/12 start. Unless the next 2 weeks they increase marketing after add/drop we will be lucky to sit 150 students.
Glad I'm not an adjunct. So you guys seriously don't know if you have a job for the term until one week before it starts? That's pretty rough. Good luck to all of you.
It's probably too early for that. I'm full time and I never get my assignments until the week prior to classes starting, so I would expect to get them the last week of this term, probably around the 8th. I've had four classes, filled to maximum capacity, every single term. I expect the same this term. Good luck.
