I know we are going through layoffs right now but what about 2015 - there are man predictions that things might turn ugly soon

The techniques was first developed and perfected by Tech Mahindra. This was used to layoff non marathis in Pune office in2009 (post satyam takeover) it was called compnay wide bench.
An automated system will generate false record of your being evaluated for various opportunities and create a record of rejects (fictitious of course) an then one fine morning the employee LAN ID , email etc is blocked and employee is told sign blank paper and leave.
thousands of non marathis were laid off in most undignified way.
This method has been taken by tech mahidra HR employees to other companies .
next time your see HR or RMG who is tech m alumini beware and restrict them .
I also got offer from Cognizant and they will file my GC too but I am scared now after reading this.

Cognizant is a very cunning Organization. They are not going to lay off in mass but stagger the lay offs continuously. The process is simple. They will first put in Corporate Deployable pool, and ask you to get openings within 2-3 months. The more experienced you are no one will be willing to take you, so after 3 months they will ask you to put in your papers. Here Quality of individuals do not matter, what matters is whether you are lucky enough to be in some groups/projects. If your project has ended, then high chance they are going to put in Corporate deployable pool and slowly show the door.
cognizant is going lay off 10000 in 2015 due th excess hiring.
Yes, it is happening right now 30-40 each week roughly by way of putting people on bench.
US employees will always be a target, way to overcompensated, every cut results in big savings.
Heard that Cognizant Layoff targeting the US employees especially the lateral entries. Anyone confirms?
