I can't believe that UTI was able to but off this site and kill Going, Going, gone and the entire thread. It is very sad that UTI does not want to hear the truth about themselves and their miss management. UTI is pathetic.

Just got up and read some of my overnight texts and I think I finally found out what happened with our thread of "Going, going, gone". Upper management started really freaking out once the views reached 50,000 views and started losing their minds at about 75,000 views. Once the views reached 100,000 they called in legal. Remember this is what I have heard and pieced together through my contacts and friends at home office. Since some of the posts had actually been pretty aggressive toward some individuals UTI threatened this website with lawsuits and pulling their advertising, the layoff.com pulled the post and thread. Lets face it once someone starts mentioning cyber bullying right now people freak out. Since UTI did not want to look like the bad guy they had someone (management, employee, friend or paid stranger) wait until another post and claim that it was them that pressured this site to shut the link down. Don't you think it is very strange that this 65890 posted just 13 minutes after the first comment? Kind of like he or she was just waiting to step up and accept responsibility for the incident?

We are the voices of people whom have or had been the subject of unfair treatment by a corporate board who care about one thing, Money. We didn't embellish the truth, we spoke of the people who are to blame for UTI's failing at it's own core principles. Remeber People, purpose, profits? It's gone to profits profits profits now. People like Mig, Shawn, Humberto, and Matt all were puppets for the corporate board members and couldn't say no because they are more afraid of their paychecks than doing whats right. You are a sheep 65890. You graze in the grass and feed off of the corporate trough. UTI is a greedy corporate entity who enjoys putting dangerous students back into the classroom and keeps failing and incapable students in classes until they fail themselves into 6000 dollars or more of debt before kicking them out and demanding payment. Yet what do you do? Cry slander to remove posts. I was smart enough to get away from the company when I did and should have left years ago. I am more happier now not having tyrants like you breathing on my back telling me how it's my fault some shit head student is failing because I failed to motivate him to learn. I'd love to know who you are 65890. You have to be upper management with your inability to spell. You obviously don't know the instructors too well either cause many aren't slender. Just so you know free speech is unlimited and as long as it isn't discriminatory against race, color, creed, national origin, sex, sexual preference, and age is perfectly acceptable. Now go hide behind your office furniture and write a reply I've got all day...

65890 here - thanks for the spelling corrections. I am not a manager but as a person who was cyberbullied Based on sexuality and race I have difficult time reading inappropriate posts using the same techniques. As you can see I never requested a removal of a critical post, I am as angry as all if you are. Not sure if this makes sense, but that is my position. I am also sure that all the adverisers here would be interested in doing business on pages contain the aforementioned comments.

I have been following these posts and threads for a very long time and honestly hope that these do some good. Yes I am in management but I hate what I am forced to do sometimes. I try so hard to be fair with my team but a lot of the times my hands are tied from the campus president and VP's. I am forced to lie to my employees constantly or as they are so fond of saying "Try to put a positive spin on it" We were just told that no employee can receive more than two 5 scores on their reviews no matter how well they performed and make sure that very few employees receive more then a 2% raise. I am supposed to do everything I can to find weaknesses so I can justify the poor performance review. I try so hard to work within the system and take care of my employees. To my team I am so ashamed but I try and I really need this job. Mr. Voice, keep fighting and telling the truth. I wish you all the luck in the world and you are always in my prayers

To our wonderful CEO. How can you not listen to your employees? Going, going, gone had 126,000 views before you shut it down. Do you think that everything will just be forgotten or forgiven just because you didn't like what was being written? The post UTI layoff named VP's that constantly failed to do their jobs and had facts and numbers to back it up but still you did nothing. How can you look at yourself in the mirror knowing that your lack of leadership is hurting people? I am barely holding on to my home because of the pathetic raises I have received the last 4 years. All I want is to educate my students and help this company grow and yet you keep doing stuff that is killing us. Remember greed is one of the seven deadly sins and greed at the expense of others is unforgivable. We will not be silenced and maybe we should start some blog that you, your money or lawyers can't shut down.

Thank you Mr. Support the Voice. I really appreciate the support. What the hell is happening here on this site? If I was simply some angry coward hiding behind a computer screen why did you have to get legal involved and kill our honest words and feelings? I guess I and others did get to you and I guess we did win. LOL. As I have stated over and over again I have only told the truth and if it was a rumor or my feelings I have stated it as such. When did that become a bad thing? If someone in a company is failing to perform their job properly and if it effects the well being of other employees shouldn't they be called on it?

In this day and age you would think a company that touts itself as a leader in educating the future of the automotive industry would take this time, read the comments and start an open dialog with its employees, the front line. I have watched, from the sidelines, as talented caring, enthusiastic, instructors come into the company, work to make the classroom enjoyable informative and exciting, push to the brink, devalued or fired for trivial things... The lesson taught. . Don't make waves.. toe the line or your out. Sad that those who wish to see things turn around are scared to speak out and management, I mean upper management, sets about to put fear in the hearts that care... Instead of embracing this as a learning and development period, upper management is using veiled treats and demeaning actions. .. taking down previous posts as a means to their end. .. If your end game is to run this company into the ground, rob it off its resources, then you're on the right track and UTI is doomed to follow other companies into oblivion.

We were told in a recent meeting by our new campus president that he did not care what an an angry person with a keyboard had to post to an anonymous web site. Well... it seems that corporate UTI certainly cares what this person is typing because the only way this post, with all of its replies and views, would have been removed is if UTI had lawyers or managers get involved. Why not remove only the posts that can be legally actionable? Why remove the original and all the replies? The Going, Going, Gone post did not mention anything more than another very long post on this site yet it has been online for months. This is obviously personal and reinforces why The Voice is posting anonymously. Imagine the consequences if they were found out!

What the heck happened to the posts? Did Penske's little friend blow a gasket because he was being picked on for not doing his job and stealing his salary because he refuses to work a full 8 hours? I just have a very hard time understanding how a man could act that way and brag about it, knowing that by acting in such a manner hurts other people. Mr when you suck up all that salary and bonuses other people cannot get raises or bonuses and they and their families suffer. What are your going to say to God at the end? Now I didn't name names so no more crying please.

Amazing.....65890 apparently you need help with spelling and learn the definition of "slander". Using personal names, especially when telling the true facts, IS NOT SLANDER, it's simply called telling the truth. But, as stated on so many posts previously, U.T.I. can't handle the truth. I think it's time to crank this thing up a notch and see if we can surpass the 100000 + views in a shorter period of time. The public needs to know the real U.T.I. and it's piss poor management team. GAME ON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I requested removal of that post... Using personal names with slurs and slender is not acceptable under free speech. Admins typically respond quickly and remove anything that smells of slender, bullying and threats

I thought this website had more integrity then that. To allow UTI to be able to dictate what is written on a public forum. Then UTI wants me to trust them. I hope that the voice is not silenced because they were one person who had the guts to stand up and tell the truth about UTI. To tell the truth about horrible managers and how unfairly are paid compared to management.
