Noble told all of its inside and outside contractors good bye last week. Senior management in Denver has been asked to make upwards of 35-40% in staff and management cuts and senior management has made a list, and was checking it twice today! Expect the pink slips to be rolling out next week.

I am a contractor and I am still with Noble! You should not believe everything you hear or read on the internet.
Anonymous72903's response sounds like it is straight out of the HR handbook. LOL.
Ranked? Rankings at Noble are very interesting. Nobody that I know of has ever received and feedback from management as to their performance. In fact for the most part we write our own reviews. Everyone is in the dark concerning their "rankings".
Any updates from anyone? From what I've heard, all employees have been ranked and the "new" organizational structure is getting worked. So getting laid off / not laid off is already finalized and the pink slips will start coming out in another 2 wks or so.
That's not the case. Contractor needs are still very position dependent. We continue to have many contractors in place where there is a critical business need for the position.
What group are you with? Anonymous72107, I was told that we are cutting contractors regardless of how important they are.
Not all contractors are gone....several left in my dept. Depends on who you know :)
Has there been layoffs other than contractors yet?
Noble Energy Offices in Ardmore, Ok. are closing their doors today.
I am a contractor and my entry badge to the Greeley office was terminated.
Any updates here? Are we laying off drillers?
That is what I heard too, 30 percent cumulative layoffs.
