I know it's been a difficult time for our colleagues in Citrix but at least Citrix waited 6 years between each layoff period (correct me if I'm wrong but the previous one was on 2009 and now 2015)
I've been working for Cisco for more than 15 years now, for the last 5 five years Cisco has announced layoffs EACH YEAR! They make the announcement MONTHS in advance and the entire layoff process lasts 1 whole week, you are not escorted right away to the door, you get the notification and you'll keep working for another 2 weeks. I'm so tired of this, I've been pardoned everytime but I know that my time will come eventually and I really really hope that this is it...I want to be laid off, get my package and move on...I'm not the only who thinks this way, my colleagues and I are waiting patiently for the day we can finally be free of this constant pressure and BS that we go through each freaking year

I'm not defending Citrix, but there are worst employers...
