6 people were layed off from our wireline yesterday. I work in Alice, Texas and work wells in Carrizzo Springs, Texas. Anadarko Petrolium closed any further wells. Looks like we are to finish up the last well by Monday next week. We are asked to meet back at shop in Alice, Texas and hope all of 18 of us will have work to do. Unless we are to get layed off in a group at the shop next week. Not sure what to expect next week. Not sure if they really have jobs for us or not. Is it just to get us together to lay us all off.

laid the whole yard off in mass this morning @mineral wells
When Mineral Wells had a layoff last year they had the sixteen or so that they were laying off meet at the yard on a Monday and laid them all off at once.
How many people do we have over there?
