Has anyone seen any movement? Ive seen alot today. Closed door meetings between managers, lots of "different" activities. Any resignations? Use this thread to post updates. I know a lot of people are checking this throughout the day.

I confirm that year-end evaluations seemed to be scored lower, this year. I received my first ever "2" score in a category in the YE2014 eval, and it was on one of the "softer" competencies.
I'm not willing to speculate why I received the lower score -- maybe they just expect more of me, now. :-/
From what i heard is 2 on a area not overall. I think this may be true because giving someone a 2 on a specific area is more easier to misled than a overall 2. Some ppl may not even notice because the overall was good enough. Also easier to discuss in case the employee wants to fight back and easier to modify to remove the dead weight.
hey 63790, i can confirm that. my team was told not to give anything less that 3 just to maintain a good standing unless someone performed really bad. asked to make 2 a rarity
I hope this is 2 overall and not 2 for a given area. What stinks is that our group was told this year that they were being very strict this year and it should be unusual to get a 4 or 5 in an area and that most people should be getting 3's even if you are performing your job well and 2's if you need ANY improvement in an area.
It sounds like this wasn't done across the company though.

On a all hands meeting really ?, with so many ppl saying the same thing this could be the key of the layoff i wonder.
i was told in an all hands too that anyone with 2.0 or below are straight up gonna go
I got a 2.0 and it was straight up surprise lie. I was told my feedback from co workers has been horrid. Co workers told me ur manager is lying. I think im out?
It sucks so many rumors, but many ppl are saying the following.

Some reviews have been lowered for some ppl with no valid reason.

A friend of mine which has a manager friend he said that they are going to use the performance score if any session of the evaluation ur under 2.0 your gone. Still i don't know the manager so this could be true or not.

Besides reviews they will try to remove the dead wood.

They may just aim by salaries as a secondary metric.
