Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Reentry students who are not enrolled in classes left on the books to pad enrollment numbers

Hmmm.....are they even eligible to come back to school?

The tricks are habitual, frequent, and not isolated incidents. Just watch what is happening to the databases this week. Hope you kept notes, lots of stuff getting deleted!

61004 -- that's true, but the problem is all the tricks have been done for so long to try to appease the stockholders that now it's just a habit. I think people are just starting to pay attention to shit like that. It's been going on under their noses for years, though -- grade changes to avoid RT4, start date changes, back-dating of enrollment, attendance that didn't actually happen, etc, etc. I've been seeing shenanigans like that for years.

Depends on their current "status" - they can remain in future status indefinitely, if "active" only until they violate an attendance policy. It sounds like these are active and not scheduled for classes, they can remain "hidden" in the database, much like removing the start date. Campus Vue has these little quirks!

Seriously, is that legal....leaving students in the databases who are not enrolled in courses? If it is legal, how long can they be left there?
