Management turning into bullies

Anyone else get a feel that most of management is really mean now? My boss was REALLY nice but now he's just an ass. Even though we made our "target" we still get in shit. Anyone know if this is something they want to implement from up top? Like the boileroom days of Goldman douche?

No, there are no leaders at EDMC at any level from top to bottom. Duh...look at EVERTHING going on over last several years. All the great managers and leaders have left. None of you have real managers let alone leaders. They're managers in title only. I worked for EDMC for almost 20 years, way before we became public, when we became public, when we became private again and then public again. I was a VP at corp after many years in a campus. We used to be the crème of higher ed (for profit) because we did things right and ethics was what led us. Your managers are jokes and couldn't be more than asst managers at fast food if that. They're losers.

We have some great CD's and AM's at SUO. For example, it all starts at the top. SR is a beast...if it were a cheeseburger eating contEst. VM is great at having secret sex in conference rooms, also great at hiding his thing with an AM. She's in his office more than her own bosses offce. JG is great at doing mass quantities of jim beam with his favorite AM, he's even better at having midget sex with his other AM. As for the AM's, LG is great at doing something with without doing anything. especially since its all handed to her. CB is great at, well nothing. BA is great at being a big tool bag, PC is great at being a heartless prick and firing people on a regular basis. Most of the good AM's have vacated the brand and gone to AUO. so to answer your initial question, no! There are no good CD's or AM's.

@Anonymous59431, abusive behavior is not acceptable. If it's all about target numbers, and one has to lie and manipulate to get the numbers, you should resist or get out. That's what a principled person would do.

Your manager is probably under a lot of pressure from upper upper management. Multiply the amount of stress you have by 100. It's not his/her fault. Its corporate. They are probably threatened to be fired all the time.
