Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

DON'T LET THE SHAMELESS PROPAGANDA FOOL YOU!

FACTS: CCI will no longer exist in the near future. CCI will either be sold off in parts, liquidated over time or go bankrupt – maybe a combination of the three. This is mandated by the Department of Education. The reason for this DOE mandate is because: CCI REPEADEDLY FAILED TO MEET REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS. CCI is run by people. Therefore, these regulatory failures are due to its executives, managers and employees…its people’s lack of integrity. CCI is widely known as the least ethical company in the industry. Individual units under a different name will still be worst in class if parts of CCI are sold off with the same unethical employees operating the business. Same people = same poor performance, same unethical behaviors, same disregard for regulatory compliance.

Ha! I can't wait to be asked about systemic fraud which was embedded into CCi processes and communicated widely to employees as performance measures.

@982 You forgot the part about CCI being shut down because they REPEADEDLY FAILED TO MEET REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS!

I find it quite strange that there has been a 3 year investigation -- by numerous sources -- and there is no smoking gun no systemic corruption found. However, there is allegations of wrong doing and conviction before due process. Lets not even bring up Harris ... this is all about her political future. It has nothing to do with the welfare of citizens. If elected officials cared about students -- they would take a look at the root cause ... the failing public education system.

The regulatory requirements were spelled out clearly. CCi failed to meet them. This is due to CCi failure and nothing else. Fabricate whatever other reasons you want but CCi failed.

@Anonymous58894, unless you have inside information, the criminal investigation is ongoing. Criminal investigations can take a considerable amount of time (e.g. sifting through emails, interviewing subjects, reinterviews).

Or ... it could be that the administration has an ideological view that education should be controlled by the government. Maybe it is law suit after law suit that drained the bottom line. Maybe it is the numerous government agencies that created bad press and jacked up legal bills. Ohhhh and by the way ... no legal conviction or wrong doing found.
