Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Feds looking in wrong place.

UIC President (Chicago) did not have her contract renewed. She has been given a $96,000 bonus on top of her 500,000 salary. In addition, the school had purchased her a million dollar home, spent a million rehabbing it and over 100,000 per year on maintenance. She has transferred to the U of I campus as a professor making 350k per year. She will not teach in year one and will teach no more then 4 classes in year 2. Nice deal I must say. And they say CCi is the issue. Maybe Durbin should bitch about this as wasted tax dollars.

789 -- Sure it's an issue, but it pales in comparison to the literally billions of dollars that CCi illegally obtained and squandered! Stop trying to redirect people's attention with typical Fox News misogynist drivel. Nobody is buying it. You will tie yourself up in fits about a few million paid for a legitimate president of a legitimate college, but have no concerns with CCi? Smells like BS to me. Nobody is that stupid (even Limbaugh ditto-dummies)... you're just a very bad troll.

The feds are looking in the right place with CCi. This just means they should be looking at other places as well.

Really, OP? Unemployment of college graduates is at a record high, but Harvard, U of I, and UIC graduates emerge with the ability to read, think critically, and speak clearly. They get the jobs in a competitive environment. Pick a CCi student and visit them on facebook. One look sends employers screaming from the building to personally mail the "no thanks letter".
