This place is a complete joke. I am talking about all branches but the worst is the Pittsburgh online recruiting location. They want to manage with fear. It's just a bunch of young punks micro managing trying to compensate for something else. Get out before this place shuts down. I PROMISE you that there is a life outside of EDMC. Other places actually value others opinions and dont threaten to fire you every day. Move on. Save yourself the stomache alcer.

If management were smart about it they would ask for volunteers to take the buyout. At a minimum 25% of the staff would gladly jump on that boat, especially, but doubtfully, if they would offer a severance. Instead they will cut people who actually want to be there and keep those who don't as usual. Some people there just can't wait to get let go so they can enjoy their lives on unemployment and have time without stress to find something better. The way this is shaping up, expect a large number of layoffs not just a few this time. It would be smart to not overspend on Christmas and save that money for living expenses when that time comes. Maybe they will get rid of more of the top heavy entourage of middle management that do not have degrees but yet find themselves in key positions. How many can you name? I can think of 5 off the top of my head, let's see who can do better!
