Coca-Cola was laying off people at Great Falls manufacturing and distribution center back in October. A good friend of mine worked for Coke for about 10 years and lost her job.

That's because they closed the manufacturing part of the Great Falls facility. All they had there was a single can-line, so it kinda made sense. I know all the people at the Great Falls facility and they are all awesome folks. Sorry to see them let go. I was let go 12/31/14, but to their credit, at least Coke notified me in mid-October so I had plenty of time to find something else.
They are moving in the wrong direction from the top down. They need to let go of the sparkling brands and move in the direction the consumers want, rather than keep trying to figure out new ways to convince the consumers they want what they don't want.
