Thread regarding Heald College layoffs

The "Forgiveness Loan" is now in effect. $500 million plus! Heald grads and current students

are notified and are being helped in reducing their loan amounts. Some have already been forgiven to pay back, if not working, only 30% of their loan amount over the course of 10 years. How they contacted us, I'm not sure, but every student I know has received notice. http://studentloanhelp.me/2014/10/obama-administration-deals-huge-blows-to-corinthian-colleges/

Very, very much like the "mortgage relief" scam letters I get all the time in the mail because of HARP and the Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act. All they want is to refi/consolidate so they can charge fees etc. Don't actually do anything.

That's a scam.

That site looks sleazy to me. It's probably an organization that agrees to refinance student loans at an incredibly high interest rate, but smaller monthly payments, so students think they're getting a deal.
