Yes this is true. They lie to you and promise you whatever just to keep you there until they say okay your not needed any longer. And they tell you no when you ask for series 7 sponsorship. Well what can you expect when they hire people that commit fraud with clients.
Always look at your base, do not look at promises, just look at things that are guaranteed for you. Also, when it comes to layoffs, do not get emotional, it's business, if you are needed any longer you will be cut, if you find a better gig you will leave on your own. It's not about layoffs, it's about the need, either your or the UBS'
That's all what I have seen here: PROMISES. I really do not think I will stick around for much longer. I do not care about layoffs, let me go if you want, but do not promise me certain levels of bonuses and then turn around and give me 1/2 of what you initially promised. That's why I think UBS sucks.
