The Mosaic Co., Minnesota-based company (is the world's leading producer of concentrated phosphate) will cut 550 to 560 jobs across the company this year. They are hoping to shed $500 million in costs during the next five years. They also announced that more than half of the jobs that will be eliminated are not directly involved in production.
