426 has a few good points, but they probably won't be recognized here. CCi employees are not generally allowed to apply critical thinking on the job, so don't expect to see it on this board full of hacks. The 47% who depend on entitlements funded by the 53% have no incentive to think critically, and that number will grow. Here's the kicker (for @400, with whom I agree): the 47% will vote in the 2016 presidential election. How many of the 53% will do so?

396: Get off your high horse. I am OK with handouts to starving needy families. I am NOT OK with the sytem allowing them to make a career out of it. If you are on welfare and decide to have unprotected sex the taxpayer should not be responsible to pay for it. It is called personal responsibility. My balls are so big you would choke on them. 400 - yeah, and stop giving $60k of my money a year to assholes like 51377 and 51380 for sitting around and cracking jokes for three weeks a month and then forcing everyone who walks in the door to sign up to make their numbers month end. admissions are the worst, and their pay comes from financial aid proceeds the same as mine. it's all tax dollars sucked out of working people and redistributed to assholes like them.
398: I know MY tax money is better spent making sure that American kids are healthy and get educated. That's pretty much the definition of how we can success in the future (AKA our elderly years). If the church would take on that responsibility for the entire country, and without discrimination, then I have no doubt they'd do a better job. What I know is NOT a good use of my tax dollars is sending billions of them to CCi to redistribute to lazy-ass adults as living stipends while passing them through whether they learn anything or not. Jeez, just take the fed financial aid billions (trillions?) and fix the K-12 system already. At least we'd have a population capable of using a darned cash register.
Hey 396, hold on a second!! Why do you reduce your argument to trashing 377? Give him/her some facts to back up your claim that their tax money is better spent giving out food and welfare checks to women having babies. Personally, I would rather not give my taxes to the government. I'd rather give that money to the church to distribute. They are much more efficient at it.

So you would be happy to have my tax dollars redistributed to your worthless (probably Admissions Rep) asses to not educate people, but you're mad that we give food to hungry American families. And it's not the lower economic tier in general that's having too many babies for your liking. You're fine with the trailer park whites, it's just the black babies that you want starved to death. A much better use of federal funds is hiring 1000 people at 100,000 a year to "administer" the amnesty of 5 million ILLEGAL aliens! Or more food stamps.. Or paying minority women for pumping out babies
I agree with the OP. The deal with ECMC makes no sense to me. But, the pay is a lot better than unemployment until I can get an offer from a better company.
