Maybe this is why Windstream hired an out-of-state company to do work in Arkansas for them, who was neither licensed nor bonded with the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board, at the time of that work, as is fully demonstrated by that contractor's own words. Windsteam signed an agreement with the Arkansas Highway Dept., that they would obey all Arkansas law, which they had to sign, before obtaining permits for installing their fiber-optic lines.
Is it that businesses of that size think, they are above the law? On second thought, maybe that is why they located in Arkansas, because, in my opinion, entities can get by with so much illegal activity and never get called on the carpet for it. This is just my opinion, of course, for what it is worth, but the facts stated are true, as has come out in a court case's Interrogatory Responses for that contractor, and is now, before the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board. You see, that contractor, working for Windstream, at the time, utilized my commercial property, fully ignoring my "For Rent" sign with contact information. Guess they just did not want to have to pay some ordinary citizen money for using their property. But Lord knows, what happens in fines and penalty costs, if someone uses Windstream equipment, and is late on a payment! Gail Parkerson/Hot Springs, AR.
