You would know this if you work at the campus level and read the monthly stat reports. California schools trump all other divisions in all categories. ECMC would be foolish to purchase all other school and leave the cash cow grazing in the grass...

Laramie Wyo-tech made a profit last year
ECMC will treat the campuses as a teach out situation. New enrollment will be halted so they can evaluate what they really have. They WILL bring in people who have experience in non-profit education and will make the necessary cuts in staff and salary, not to mention the outsourcing that is coming.
Let's see, the only branch that made a profit was online, and that's right online is attached to mostly the FL campuses. Keep dreaming CA.
CA may trump all other divisions independently, but when added up together the other divisions probably account for a lot.
CA schools represent approx 30% of student base, that leaves approx 70%.
I believe the whole CA AG rumor is false but we will see.
