Next cycle of layoffs or CSW are underway. Currently scheduled for sometime the end of Jan or beginning of Feb. Targeting 150-180 for now (heavy engineering), but it's early and likely to change as we get closer. Serparation package will be considerably less, pending lawyer review and approval. Bids are out to outsouce IT/IRM.

I am the first agree that CSW has the stupidest, most inbreed, do nothing management on Earth, but even they couldn't be so stupid as to lay off more Engineering, but I have wrong before. Yes, it is "Engineering" but not the ones who have taken ALL of the hits so far - you figure it out, and of course none of the brilliant shiny bulbs in management - I hope I am wrong. I could save L-3 lots and lots of money, instead of doing more investigations and meetings and interviews - I have a short list for you folks back East, GET RID OF EVERYONE at the VP level and above just for starters! Then get rid of 99% of all managers below them - you would probably see profits within a week. I know I am not one of you brilliant people in building "a" so just keep ignoring this sound, free advice, your stick your head in the sand policy has been working great lately.

When are the repugnant status takers, the truly dismal program manager and overhead support leaches going to get their just reward and shown the door? The gawd damn place is totally out of wack.
