872, you're correct about the next round of rifs. mostly mid-management (regionals, etc) with a few high-level surprises thrown in. about time, isn't it?
Apparently, if you've gotten a PIP recently, you should be very worried. I'd be nervous if I was a middle manager (anything between supervisor and full VP). In the past, we have reduced discontinued a lot of those positions to save money. I'm surprised we still have so many of them left, but at this point it's going to get down to bare bones staffing. That means mostly Indians, fewer Chiefs.
I wonder what they will have to do to make payroll in October.
