864, if you are correct then so it be. At least if they let me go there will be closure to this nightmare. They already took 10% of my pay, I'll be damned if I was going to work for another 50% off of that. Jack and his band of merry butt kissers caused this mess let them deal with it without me.

Anonymous35859 and others: I guarantee you that if you make a mental note of which Directors, Regionals, etc took furlough instead of the 50% paycut, you'll see a direct correlation when the RIFs start. If you've gotten a PIP in the last 4-5 weeks or you're a Director or above who took furlough, your neck is going to be on the chopping block. That was the whole point of offering the choice.
35859 - pretty gutsy move for them to take furlough! Of course, at this stage of the game what difference does it make? At Socle, so far it looks like they're all coming in. A lot of good kool-aid at Socle I guess! Well, at least a fancy coffee machine and enforced Up With People cheeriness. It's amazing what they've accomplished with that combination!

Probably a director or above. Instead of the furlough they have the "option" (not really an option) of working for both weeks and only getting paid 50%. It's expected that they take it to show the lower staff how confident they are in the company's prospects and how grateful they are to be able to serve their CCI masters.
