Iv watched very knowledgable people get let go and not knowledgable people stay to take over. This is where the failure

DOE "accidentally" happened upon the fraud. Uh, yea, that's it. It had nothing to do with former employees turning over evidence.
Ex employees went to regulators with actual documentation...why else do you think that the ED and NCFPB asked for such specific things, knowing they wouldn't get them? Here is a hint: ex employees already provided the incriminating evidence to them. How do I know this? Well, I was one of them:). And so were many others:)
762, no ex employees or students shut down CCI. Nothing has ever been nor ever will be done with all of the complaints. The DOE accidentally crippled CCI. It was all an accident. And let's not forget that all the angry ex employees are just angry employees somewhere else now.
So much anger...I thank god everyday to all the ex employees who went to the regulators and caused the shutdown of CCI...they really are the unsung heroes.

737, do your own homework. I did mine. Got a new job that pays more and I found it all by myself. You want me to do you a favor? Be a little nicer next time and maybe I could've given you a lead or two. But, you don't need to get a new job, even though pay is so low at your school, yet you seem to be sticking around.
The instructor pay is higher than average. And they had WAY more full time jobs available for people with a Master's degree than I've ever seen. It's VERY uncommon for someone with a Master's degree to have a full time teaching gig in a college. Some lecture positions that maybe pay $25-30G in my state. But, mostly, any full time jobs are given to PhDs. That was a very unique situation to Everest. Maybe I don't know though. I've only been in the business for 25 years and have worked for 8 other schools. That might only qualify as a pos who knows nothing. Not like all the smarty pants responding below who know all about the job market, yet stay in their CCI cube.
Believe me or don't. I really don't care. You'll find out soon enough anyway. But, with a 10% paycut and employees still sticking around, I think that's a fair telling of how the market is out there. Everyone knows they're closing.

Show me CCI pay compared to the pay to five other for-profit schools. Positions and salary, using three sources. If you can't, admit you are a lying pos.
Not sure what position or state you're in but CCI has paid most employees far less than the national or local averages.
It happens ALL the time, 717. It's not even unique to this business.
Because they can hire a new person and pay them less. New person has no CCI to untrain and they can be taught their way. Any new buyer knows CCI is a failure, and they know a rebuild will need to be done. No smart company rebuilds with the failures that destroyed it in the first place. Rebuilds take years, so they have the time to do it their way. Go ask ex employees of Lehman brothers about their job at Barclays or ex employees of Countrywide about their jobs at Bank of America. You can't, because they were fired ASAP after the acquisitions. It's what happens when crap is purchased, it's business.
And how can you be so sure?
