Well looks like I'm going to have to break some hard news to my wife and child today, just let go for too poor mobile sales, I have had 2 previous performance counselings and now I was just told to turn in my shirt... I never even wanted the MTS position, I wanted something more operational, oh well it'll be financially stressful but we'll pull through. My advice to everyone here is to walk away from Staples, on your terms, with preparations made, in the end it could save you some heartache and turmoil.

Our MTS quit 2 weeks ago because he was on his final for lack of phone sales, my GM told me it's the worst position Staples has ever had. He's our 4th one in 5 months.
I do not think you can be fired for lack of phone sales alone. If they documented the OP twice before, his main priority should have been upgrade checks and canvassing.
I am not condoning Staples BS practices, but if he was written up for lack of sales then focus on sales.
Good luck
Is this a new company wide policy? They termed our MTS last Friday for same reason.
