We don't have the manpower to do this with the colo project and 35% reduction in staff. Heck they Infosec director is on vacation this week so good luck geting the approval. We do have the ability to know which IP address go to what websites by looking in the firewall logs, wireless and network. As long as you don't use the CCI Network you are fine.
As for determining what you posted we can't do that, 100% positive on that. Post away but not from a CCI network
CCI does not have the funding nor time to look into who out in the world has grievances with the company. If they really wanted to "catch" anyone.... They would not forewarn them. This post is a scare tactic only to minimize the negative posts.

I work for IT department and I can care less what the cci employees post on an anonymous chat site.

I used to work in an IT department. They had a program where they could put key words and web addresses in so computers were flagged if they went to certain sites (issue back then was porn.) If CCI wants to babysit computers, it's already being done.
As noted by Voice of IT, they don't need to get the IP addresses from the layoff.com. They can simply determine what websites are accessed via companyy computers. Easy to do and perfectly legal (read the company policy on system usage) - even if the need to do so is questionable. Hopefully no one on here is posting from a CCI system......
Not from the IT group. We do not have access to public IP addresses only ouw own and do not filter out for specific web site usage. But we can when requested by HR.

Anonymous33381- First the IP address would need to be obtained from thelayoff.com, and then that would need to be tracked to the service provider of the person posting. And then information would be needed from the originating ISP.
IT for CCI doesn't have access to IPs on this board!!!
