hmmmmm having work there for several years, I never saw Raytheon re-hire anyone they laid off, at least on a non-union exempt job
I've been hearing people will be rehired after the new union contract in October
If you're over 50 and especially if you're a fully vested or about to be fully vested in the RTN retirement plan, YOU are a prime target for future layoff... just sayin
Raytheon has been systematically laying people off for the past 5 years starting with the IT outsourcing and now sequestration. Bottom line is that this trend is likely to continue all in an effort to keep the stock price propped up (now over $100).

Nothing on this but I heard about a reorg that's being planned for 2015, should affect most folks
