Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

I was employed with UCI or two and a half years and ended my appointment with them in July. I was promised a retention bonus for staying through the end of my contract date. Just spoke with California who informed me that the backlog of serverances and bonuses to be paid out it is over 12 weeks long pending approval by the board of education but it doesn't look good given the "state of the company" - the board has not approved payments for one severance or retention bonus yet!
