While i was there it was all about chasing the next thing. Anything for a buck and ignoring the core business. Sell Sell Sell whatever whenever. Bottled water, scooters, popcorn... pushing anything but office supplies.

Sure......Staples made Millions...but for how long with all the bad press?
While a majority of stores do make a profit, it is not enough to support top heavy Framingham. The ratio of Chiefs to Indians there way out of proportion. But instead of reducing some redundant SVP positions for big savings they layoff the regular people.
They grossed billions they made millions, and the millions were less than necessary to pay back staked equity. No doubt workers are paid crap, because Staples is crap.
Ah yes. The scooters. what a good idea.
We still make billions, dont we? How much did you make last year?
I'm sorry, Staples is a backward cesspool and in the end only the most unethical and short sighted individuals will remain in their employ.
