For profits are cutting back, not expanding. Go to a real school and get a real education...you may have a chance then. The for profit party is over, and so is your outsized paycheck.

OP is not wrong, on any of the points. It is going to be brutal for a lot of CCI enrollment reps very soon. Out of 12000 employees, it is safe to assume 5000 are enrollment. As the OP accurately stated, the industry is cutting back, not getting bigger. The days of big paydays for them are over and their skills are not in demand. CCI hired a certain type of person for enrollment and paid them what they did for one reason: control. They knew that that particular person can't make this kind of money anywhere else, and they knew that person generally had no issue in not following rules to do CCIs bidding. In return, they also knew this person was not going to raise ethical issues or question shady decisions. The chickens have come home to roost.
