Expired assets refers to overpaid employees due to tenure, individuals who are able to be replaced more people who each work fewer hours, etc.
Its not funny to laugh but its just awful how they considered folks to be "expired assets" as if we are just pieces of obsolete old computer hardware ready to be thrown away that hasn't been used in a decade. Its pathetic. Does anyone know what would qualify someone to fall into that category?
Mid years are part of a new initiative to reduce staff considered to be obsolete, negative or my all time favorite "expired assets."
Is the mid year reviews a way of weeding out and thinning the herd so to speak? First time in all the years I've worked here that I had a mid year recently.
Yeah just got a notice of employment cessation and it said performance follow ups would continue as scheduled until the final week's term at the store's closure.
Closing SDO's and still conducting mid year reviews. How can they do that with a straight face..LMAO

Seems to be the daily outlook lately... do the best you can each day until they tell you not to come back. Its sad how all this is going on.
