Let's be honest: the Heald College was an arranged one, and an unhappily arranged one at that. As a Heald employee, I watched CCi come in and mandate that we buy books from only their "premier publishers" in order to maximize textbook discounts. Never mind that the best English books are published by Bedford St. Martins. I saw Eric Rajasalu, SVP of marketing, fired, only to be replaced by leadership that couldn't generate the same leads. I saw erosion of infrastructure -- if you had a question about an expense report, you were not responded to. Can you blame Heald employees for looking forward joyfully to getting out from the CCi umbrella?
"let's leave CCI behind and get back to what we're good at" sounds like a jab to me.
291- The high and mighty attitude is not rooted in optimism.
How is choosing to be optimistic about the future acting "high and mighty"? I get that this uncertainty is a bitch and it's taking its toll on all of us, so I think it is refreshing to see a little positivity here. Life is too short to spend our time angry and negative!
Do you mean on the Heald layoff site
