I noticed on my letter ending my employment that my severance pay was based on what I was making a few years ago and not now. Since then I have taken a promotion and gotten a raise. I now make $9,000 more than my letter states. Why am I not receiving severance on that number?

Wait until you get your severance check and see almost 40% of it is gone to taxes.
Severance is a calculated average of pay adjustable for each position and tenure. They'll **** you like a sex addict on PCP.
staples isnt reinventing the wheel here folks, a lot of companies do this, they give you severance based on the percentage at each pay grade
GAMES GAMES GAMES,,THATS ALL THEY PLAY
Just be happy your getting severance. What? Did you think that Staples was going to be fair to you?!?
