Phone number 412-567-9240 called and left an automated message telling me (enrolled student) that Everest schools are closing and to please call them back for further information! Call back yielded a company calling itself 'student assistance'. If this is fake... They are certainly going to great lengths to fool me!

Move to Canada, it's better over there, nobody will bug you for loans
Nobody will be forgetting the debt, remember that.
Do not answer, anything of significance will have to be put in writing, so just ignore the calls.
This number calls 3 times daily or more. They never leave a message. They just call and hang up.
"Is a college or univ closes, student debt is forgiven." That's only half true. Private loans are NOT forgiven.

412 not California area code California. Is where CCI is headquartered. This is probably law firm gathering plaintiffs for class action suit.
It's a working number. It's student outreach.
Dial a 1 first, Einstein. I just called the number again... Dialing a 1 before the number... And you get an automated service asking you to input the ten digit number you were originally called at. It's a working number.
