As an admissions rep at one of the campuses the Calling for that sake of calling is the part of the job I hate. Since they (management) can't officially count enrollments or starts this is the way they monitor our activity. It's a joke and I hate it!

They have to hire to replace the ones who run for the hills or get fired. What an awful job that must be.
Not true, while every other department is understaffed, admissions continues to hire.
I heard they got laid. Not sure about laid off.

No, in fact they've been hiring new ones. We're at 100 % staffing for the first time in months.
Better yet, enter your phone number on a Heald or CCI website and ask for information. If you start getting 25 obnoxious calls every hour, admissions is still up and running.
I suppose you could look around your own campus and confirm this....
