Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Why do Socle employees think they are not part of CCI and all the problems. Being a subsidiary still means you are CCI employee

(repost due to CCi goon trolls) When the CCI ship goes down so does Socle. I do not understand why they think it does not include them. Just because some of the cost cutting was not applied to them. You are so small the savings would be insignificant. Socle was a poor attempt to start a new line of business. However it was too little too late. Maybe if they started that 5 years ago and it became successful it could have been spun off as a separate company. But now you are part of CCI get over it.

Anonymous38166 - stop whining and pretending that you're a mentally challenged child. We KNOW who you are and we're starting to figure out that you do NOT want us thinking or talking about Socle. No wonder, now that we know Socle is hiring and traveling like crazy and were exempted from the furloughs. We're going to keep poking around...I'll bet there's lots to uncover and bring to the monitor.

No. This summer you SOCLE jerks came here telling us that you weren't a part of us and were terrible. Now you want to be part f the discussion? Suck it.

You should read the posts below by Socle employees. the execs have a master plan to get out of this intact and it very much includes Socle. Except for some IT staff, Socle has been immune to furloughs and have been hiring like crazy./ Yes, currently part of CCi. Not sure who would say otherwise. In the future, may be different./ Of course we're CCi, and (almost) all of us are fully aware of that. At the same time, we've been told for over a year never to use the "C" word, and to always say "Socle." We've been told over and over that Socle, not CCi, is our employer, and we've been told since June that nothing in the news has anything to do with us. We're not allowed to ask about what's going on, and we know it's in our best interest to pretend that we've drunk the kool-aid and play along. Trust me, I know a lot of you wish you were Socle and still had coffee and toner (and no furlough) but it's a miserable place to work. It's like working in a sweatshop run by a cult./ Anonymous38058 -- a cult of chortling, giggling buffoons. Woot woot!/ What's funny is if you google SOCLE jobs, one of the first results that pops up is "SOCLE jobs at Corinthian Colleges." I LOL'd at that./ Socle is a huge part of the problem as well. If we had a program review (DOE audit) we would have Title IV permanently taken away from us. Our financial aid culture is: (1) "Regulations are suggestions and are never meant to dictate or impede business practices", and (2) "We assume everything a student writes is true - We do NOT call our customers liars!", and (3) "We laugh at the 'financial aid people' who are all caught up in following rules, because they just don't 'get' it!", and (4) "All of these discussions are phone calls only - NOTHING in writing!" You would be amazed at how blatant Socle leadership is when it comes to breaking regulations. They take pride in it.
