Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Why bother to sue?

There is no money. There isn't enough to cover payroll, hence the furlough. If CCI sells anything, that money will go to outstanding bank debt anyway. The sales will now be lower than fire sale prices and will likely not be anyone looking for a large chunk of the business. CCI, close the doors.

37166 - I think you're on to something there. We have been so sneaky, dishonest and uncooperative that the feds are trying to bury us so deep we can't possibly wiggle out of it. They know CCi has to be put down, as a warning to other unethical proprietaries and to protect the U.S. population from our predatory practices.

In my opinion that's the point. DOE will not need to shut us down. The suit coincides with their subpoena. The suit would force a bankruptcy, then no more T4 funding....result = CCI closes their doors. DOE still wins.

167 - DOE won't need to do another thing. We will very soon collapse under the weight of our own debt, reduced revenue and lack of cash.

When dealing with vampires, it's always best to nail the coffin shut.
