335 - If the actions were performed by a Heald employee, its not "guilty by asociation", it's just plain guilty.
WE are in the news again. This is horrible that we have this affiliation, but we can't deny or hide from it.
We say "Our Parent Company". Fact is… we are now pulled into it and we cannot do anything about it. I agree with 37201. Let's face it, guilty by association.
Unfortunately Heald College is part and parcel of that news story, and Heald figures prominently in the lawsuit. Some of the allegations specifically involve misconduct by Heald employees at Heald campuses. It's nice to indulge in the fiction that Heald and CCI are separate, but in the eyes of the government, they are not. When Heald employees are specifically accused of serious misconduct, there is no way to claim with any degree of credibility that CCI is the bad guy and that Heald is innocent in all of this.
