Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

I don't get it

Why are some schools still enrolling students? Can they even start classes? Are they gathering students for the next owner? I'm not sure, just going with the flow.

Signed up 20 at the homeless shelter on the way in to work this morning. If everyone else will do the same we will be fine!

If they stop enrolling, we will close. And fairly quickly.

I left cci but before I did they harped 'business as usual!' A buyer won't buy a school with no students.... And students are the only source of money... Nasty cycle.

Students = Money. Without students, we are more broke.

When CCi is not enrolling, revenues go down faster than expenses, and given CCi has no cash or credit, that would not last long.

Once they stop enrolling, we close.

$$$$$$$. Students are our ONLY source of income. That's it. For Everest, they're probably putting them into mini term. But it means nothing about the fate of the school.
