Rumor from good source on 4th floor. The execs will FINALLY start removing the bloated levels of management to save the jobs of the doers. Divisionals, Regionals, etc, etc, all from the top down. Consolidation of services (some will not be campus-based and will be at CSC only), Socle pared down, and more of a concentration on "significant" costs instead of day-to-day business costs like toner (or bathroom soap). Finally! Should see the changes start up next week. It might not save us, but it buys those of us who actually serve the students a bit more time and a few more paychecks! We're the only ones that a buyer might want to keep on anyway.

322, CCI can't meet it's cash needs now. May I remind you we have to save toner?
Unlike everyone else, they will get severance pay. So it's going to cost a pile of cash to jettison that dead weight. CCi will not be able to meet its cash needs in the very near future.
Consolidation of services also means wait much longer for answers (e.g. on bennies) and no idea who to call for answers. Oh well, as long as I have a job.
I believe they manufacture RVPAs in a factory in Anaheim. They're not very advanced yet, but amazingly human-like when the light hits them a certain way.
Other than suggest we are not smiling and dialing enough, I have no idea what the RVPA does.
Don't be surprised when the managers you hate make the cut. You may hate them, higher level management might not.
Consolidation of Services = More Work for Everyone Who is Left
Hmmmm. I'll believe it when I see it. Sounds like something the 4th floor would say but never do. We LOVE our many levels of do-nothing managers!
Nothing will 'save us.' We are closing or being sold. They just need to keep it solvent for a few months.
