I'm looking for serious responses here. I've only been with CCi 2 years and don't know the history behind why we use our "get off your couch" approach. I can see that that may have been a catchy tactic at one point - but for it to be our only strategy? Lack of vision and understanding of what motivates potential students IMO.

Instead of maroon socks we could use blue life vests. "Let's get to work!"
Classy? That's cute. You'd think they'd want to follow ItT's lead and speak with real students who have succeeded. Are there any?
I read one person's review, "I knew I should have waited for the DNA result instead of calling Everest."
Agreed. It's all part of the predatory recruiting practices. What kind of potential student would be sitting at home on their couch at 12:30pm, watching Maury? The kind of student CCI wants. Undeprepared, low-income, unskilled, and likely to fail.
I think it portrays us EXACTLY. It speaks directly to the student population they want.
Not only that, the same commercial is used no matter what programs a campus offers. "Get off your couch" might not work as well for business students, for example.
