Does anyone think Corinthian is being unfairly treated? Is this a political thing with the Obama administration? Why do they not look at other for profit schools? A lot of them have poor retention

I did read that article. It shows that the war on for profit schools is as political as the war on coal. The Obama administration has declared war on any business that makes a profit. Just listen to his speeches, if you built a profitable business you owe the profits to the less fortunate. As the Wall Street Journal wrote, CCi has been accused of many wrong doings but has yet to be found guilty of any. The DOE thought they found an easy way of taking down CCi, but they didn't take into consideration what the collateral damages might be.
Just look at what else political is going on. Obama doesn't like guns and he couldn't take them away so he had the government buy all the ammunition. What did the IRS and the EPA need millions of rounds of ammunition for? He regulated the coal mines nearly out of business. Now he's trying to regulate the coal fired power plants out of business.
So yes, it is mostly political. If Obama don't like you he will put you down.
To say that this is a purely political move is horseshit. University of Phoenix and ITT were already targeted, Westwood Colleges (owned by Alta) also were investigated within the last 5 years. CCI is the worst offender. If you have taught for CCI, you would know why.
Lots of employees were contacting them. It promoted the request, cci could not send in what is being requested because they are dirty. Lots of others are being watched and hurt but they didn't have employees actually turning them in.
Other for profit schools ARE being targeted, CCI is the worst of them so they are first. CCI did it to themselves.

This will answer many questions and it is from a DoE spokesman. Read the comments as a lot of people think it is political. Also pay attention to why the DoE felt they had to step in. Big difference to the AG lawsuits and half the crap on this board
