CCI will change its name and become a marketing firm for other colleges. Sorry for the campuses as they will have a lot of layoffs but the CSC seems to be safe and will continue on. CCI won't be a school but will instead market for other schools. At least that's what they tell us.

DOE, get the DOJ invoked. These scam artists aren't going to stop until someone is in handcuffs.
Most if the declining enrollments are due to the stops me of ATB and a better job market. Quick start enrollment in classes are up because companies are spending money to train their employees.
Hasn't anyone asked if the declining enrollments may be due to marketing's performance?
It doesn't make a lot of sense but that's what they said. And nobody has been laid off at the CSC yet.
Let me get this straight....We will become a marketing consultant for other brands in private education....BUT.....we are being controlled by the DOE?????.....and we "sell" education. Ok. got it. Jack must have the best weed in the country!...Am I missing something?
And I suppose salaries and benefits will be the same. NOT
"Why fight the DOE when you can make money as a service provider" says it all. The Socle Worker on here keeps saying over and over that they are not regulated by ED since they are not a school. WTF? They are the ones doing the financial aid processing! How can a group that dumb have managed to get jobs in upper management? Only at CCi!
I remember the early days of Socle, when my manager couldn't get in to see her boss because he was always in with the clique, giggling and guffawing like idiots over how awesome they thought their little idea was. They're still thinking "Whew! Thank God we did this and we'll be saved!" and not realizing that it's all over. While they were making their grand plans they forgot to mind the business. Now that it's collapsed it's going to follow them everywhere. That's the thing with being in a highly regulated industry. You don't flip the bird at the authorities and think you're going to just slide by with a slap on the wrist and everything is forgotten. Maybe with bankers, but not for-profit education. Not anymore.
It really is ironic. And they knew everything was crumbling and really have been planning to bail on a sinking ship and move into servicing. The problem is that they're under the misconception that doing so lets them do whatever they want without any regulatory oversight, but that's not the case. They either take on all the compliance risk, or they get no clients. Even in marketing, unless you are recruiting international students, you still have to abide by the admissions rules that CCi never managed or bothered to do. Nobody is going to touch them with a ten foot pole. Deluded losers!
CCi only has expertise in marketing to the kind of students nobody else wants. They got to this place because they couldn't figure out how to yield anything but the bottom of the bucket, relative to their competition, leading to worse outcomes. It's sad and amusing that they still see their vaunted marketing machine as their strength, rather than the cause of their downfall.
Honestly, Global sucks (that's where wunderkind TF came from). There are some much better ones, like the one in Atlanta that GB went to. Doesn't matter, though. Most schools want control of their financial aid and other processes. There's not a big market for third party servicers.
Who better? Global Financial Aid Services. http://www.globalfas.com/
This sounds like a pipe dream to me. Or a way to keep the troops working by assuming that is a light the end of the tunnel instead of an oncoming train.
Well, there's no denying the CCi connection will give them a certain cache. Who better to provide services to the lesser (still in business) colleges?
You suggest CCi has competition? Ut oh...
So you will be in competition with Global Financial Services based in Gulfport?
Anonymous19351 - Let me know how that pans out. Make sure you you let your facebook friends know to. STFU
We are changing to a service provider and not schools which was the plan all along if you listened to Jack's messages. Why fight the DoE when you can make money as a service provider?
As soon as they change their name we'll make sure that the connection is well publicized. The Cali press will have a field day with that!
Uh huh. That's what they're telling Socle folks too. The marketing angle makes sense, but it won't involve CSC staff having jobs. The rich dicks will market to other chains as "consultants" who have "been through the ringer" and gained mystical knowledge from it. I don't see it flying, but I do see those deluded pricks imagining that it will.
